About Julie Tallard Johnson

For over 40 years, I’ve had the privilege of working as a therapist and meditation teacher, and for nearly 30 years, I’ve served as a Writer's Sherpa, mentoring writers through their creative journeys. My passion lies in supporting individuals as they heal from anxiety, trauma, creative blocks, grief, life transitions, and in discovering clarity of purpose. Together, we tap into emotional awareness and connect deeply with the wisdom of the body, opening pathways to healing and transformation.

My approach is rooted in extensive training across diverse practices, including somatic experiencing, breathwork, trauma-informed yoga, transformational journaling, dialectical cognitive behavior therapy (DCBT), mindfulness meditation, narrative medicine, ethical mentorship, and ceremonial practices. Through thoughtful inquiry and open-ended questions, I guide you toward uncovering your own inner wisdom.

I firmly believe that our collective well-being begins with personal well-being.
I invite you to explore my offerings, including several free resources, to see if my approach resonates with you. Whether through embodied counseling, spiritual mentoring, or embodied writing mentorship, our work together can transform stories of pain into sources of strength, healing, and creative expression.

Discover the compassion and courage within you. Drink from the deep well of your inner wisdom—a source that can guide you toward your truest path and empower you to make a meaningful impact in the world.
